Welcome to the Blind Bob Adventures website

That’s actually easy to answer in several steps.

Steven Harper is an old hippie, a retired wine maker, avid history nut, an opinionated friend to most, and is now trying his hand at writing, in his words, “The next great adventure novel”. Only difference is, it’s about a fella who’s blind.

The reason Blind Bob is blind also comes from Steven’s experiences. About 10 years ago he lost most of his vision. Always being one for the next adventure, Steve spent a short while dealing with the fact that it was his new normal, then learned to use a cane, how to read and write braille, use a brailler, and how to use a laptop with JAWS.

As he wandered through his new way of life, he realized that there were other people out there doing the same thing in different manners. That was when he decided that an adventure story seen through the eyes of a blind hero could be an interesting thing, and if not to everyone, at least to him.

This page is set up for Steve and Blind Bob and their adventures through life with limited vision. There will be stories put up here, blogs (eventually), and a few pictures.

Trust me, there are more people than just the blind, and you might find yourself in one of the characters that roam their world.
